🍓 Sweet, Tangy & Irresistibly Tropical
Picture stepping into your garden on a warm morning and plucking a cluster of ruby-red, strawberry-scented fruits straight from your own tree. The Strawberry Guava (Psidium cattleianum) makes that dream a delicious reality. Compact, fast-growing, and incredibly productive, this exotic fruit plant is one of the most rewarding additions you can make to any Indian garden, terrace, or balcony.
Why Strawberry Guava?
- Unique Dual Flavour — the taste of guava meets the aroma of fresh strawberry in every bite; sweet, slightly tart, and utterly addictive.
- Heavy Fruiter — produces abundant clusters of small, round fruits that ripen to a deep red or yellow, depending on the variety.
- Compact & Container-Friendly — naturally small-statured tree; thrives in large pots, making it perfect for terraces and urban gardens.
- Nutritional Gem — rich in Vitamin C, antioxidants, dietary fibre, and potassium; a superfruit hiding in plain sight.
- Low Maintenance — drought-tolerant once established, pest-resistant, and forgiving for beginner gardeners.

Care Tips
Place your Strawberry Guava in a bright, sunny spot. Water 2–3 times a week during summer and reduce in winter. Feed with a balanced NPK fertiliser every 6–8 weeks during the growing season. Prune lightly after fruiting to maintain shape and encourage new growth. The plant is remarkably adaptable — it handles both dry spells and occasional waterlogging better than most fruit trees.
Suitable for all tropical and sub-tropical regions of India — Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, and beyond.
