Adenium Pots
Tall plastic pots for adenium (desert rose), made in our own factory in Puducherry. Adenium grows a thick tap root and swollen caudex, so it does best in a pot that is taller than it is wide while the plant is young. These pots give the root room to go down and drain fast, which is what keeps adenium from rotting in the monsoon.
Which size should I pick?
- 4.7 inch square tall pot – seedlings and small grafted adenium.
- 6 inch tall round or square pot – the most common size for a young plant from a nursery.
- Tall black 7.5 × 8.5 inch pot – mature plants and caudex development.
Repot only one size up at a time. Use a fast-draining mix of red soil, coarse sand and a little cocopeat, and make sure the drainage holes stay open. More tips in our pot size guide.
